Crimson, golden, pastel hue,
Sinking into waves of blue.
Bright, brillant arrayed in glory,
Much too short-like a perfect story.
Photos capture the fleeting light,
but warmth only felt when you witness the sight.
Awed by the moment. Sad it couldn't last,
Beauty only realized once it's past.
Judging by the joy they give,
Sunsets mimic a life well lived.
